Refund policy
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately to file a claim if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item; claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery.
We offer a return period of 30 days from date of shipment. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) numbers are required for all returns.
To request an RMA number email todd@flecksmarine.com. Be sure to provide the order number, product being returned, and the reason for return. Returned merchandise is subject to a restocking fee of 15%.
If your RMA request is accepted, we’ll provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package. Shipping of returned items is the customer's responsibility. Items returned without an RMA number will not be accepted.
Cancellation
Orders that you submit online are processed immediately and may not be cancelled, and therefore you'll need to wait until you receive the merchandise in order to return it.
Non-Defective Returns
Non-defective returns must be complete in the original packaging and resalable.
Non-defective returns that show signs of installation, use, missing parts, missing packaging, missing proof of purchase, missing UPC code, or have serial numbers that do not match our records will not be accepted. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs of non-defective returns. Using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance is advisable for items of value, as Fleck’s Marine is not liable for lost or damaged return packages.
We’ll notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. A refund takes up to 10 business days. Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.
Defective Returns
The customer must first contact the manufacturer for technical support to confirm product is defective and that product replacement is warranted. Be prepared to provide the name of installer, product serial number, and details about the defect. A prepaid return shipping label will only be provided for defective items if deemed appropriate by the manufacturer.
Exceptions
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as: Special order items, freight truck only items, opened software, cartography, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Discounted items may be considered non-returnable at our sole discretion.
